A PAIR OF SILK BROCADE CHAIR PANELS
18TH CENTURY

Each finely woven in delicate shades of blue, green, pink, coral, cream and gold with a fierce four-clawed dragon and flaming pearl above a floral and butterfly medallion, all between rectangular panels of a shou lantern and a pavillion flanked by Buddhistic lions rising from crashing waves, highlighted with gold and silver thread and reserved against a golden ground of cloud whisps and bats (some wear, minor repairs)
