A pelmet of black velvet voided to reveal an ivory ground worked with gilt metal threads forming stylised pommegranates within a stylised foliate lattice--56 x 22in. (140 x 55cm.), 20th century, with recent fringing and backing; and a panel of three joined lengths of yellow silk woven with stylised foliage in metal threads and brocaded in shades of purple and red silks with stylised flowers--48 x 54in. (60 x 135cm.), 19th century with later edging and backing, possibly French for the North African market (2)
