Maker's mark of Barnard Bros., London, kettle 1901, three 1906; one 1896
Comprising tea kettle, stand and lamp, teapot, long necked coffee pot, two handled open sugar basin and cream jug, each compressed oval on rim foot, the sides chased with frieze of cornucopia, foliate scrolls and scalework on matted ground, twice centering vacant cartouche, with everted gadrooned collar, the front with foliate enclosed female mask, the pots with decorated spout, the hinged part decorated low cover topped by floral button finial, differing wood handles, the kettle on twice pinned three footed circular stand, kettle on stand over fixed handle--12in. (31.8cm.) high, gross weight 137oz. (5)
