AN EDWARDIAN SILVER INKSTAND
The stand Maker's mark of Mappin & Webb, Sheffield 1908, the mounts to the bottles, Birmingham, 1909, maker's mark HM
Rounded rectangular, on four melon feet, the ground with two pen depressions, the center with two circular frames for the two cut-glass bottles with silver mounts and hinged flat cover with gadrooned rim, centering rectangular box detachable cover topped by fluted urn finial, with gadrooned rim, in fitted case--9in. (22.9cm.) long, the stand--20oz.
