In the Classical manner, inverted ovoid, on spreading circular base engraved with alternate bellflower and anthemion band, the body two sides with silver-gilt matted oval, each enclosing Diana; the other with a female Bacchic figure pouring wine, each flanked by crossed fronds, the front engraved with monogram, cylindrical neck with flaring spout, with hinged flat cover, with loop handle--11in. (29.2cm.) high, 21oz.
