Maker's mark of Aldwincke & Slater, London, 1887
Spreading cylindrical, with fluted knop above the partly fluted and molded raised circular base, engraved with two broad bands of lush undulating foliate scroll, the central plain band engraved within circle Hong Kong Jockey Club MEETING 1888 BROKERS CUP WON BY ORANGE BLOSSOM, with flowering branch below, the other side with Medusa mask, with two partly beaded and foliate wrapped scroll handles--14in. (37.5cm.) high, 52oz.
