Maker's mark probably that of Wakely & Wheeler, London, 1959
Compressed circular on molded base, the front engraved with mounted jockey, and Presented to the Winner of the St. Leger 1960 by the late Robert Sterling Clark, in memory of Colonel St. Leger; the other side Sir Victor Sassoon's St. Paddy by Aureole out of Edie Kelly ridden by Lester Piggott trained by Noel Murless in script, with applied reeded rim--9in. (22.9cm.) diam., 41oz.
