the peirced surround with flaired C scrolls to the top corners; flaired foliate scrolling to the lower areas of the sides; stylised, fluted foliage to the top and two sides of the surround; the centre of the top with a peirced cartouche formed by C scrolls; the lower side with stylised acanthus leaves; astragal at sight edge -- 24 x 19 3/8 x 3-5 in. (60.9 x 49.3 x 7.5-12.5 cm.)
