A French carved and gilt composite frame, 19th Century,
the cavetto with pressed on Greek scroll-work to the corners, consisting of acanthus leaves flanked by scrolling foliage, the stems encircling daisy and rose heads either side of cornucopia; taenia; composite fixed leaf pattern to the sight edge -- 9 1/4 x 7 x 2 1/4 in. (23.5 x 17.8 x 5.7 cm.) and another smaller French frame of a similar style; with pressed on Greek scroll-work; the sight edge, circular. (2)
