A large Mandarin pattern punch bowl
painted and gilt to the exterior with dignitaries and attendants on pine-strewn, rocky riverbanks before pavilions in the distance, smaller cartouches decorated with birds and flowers on a gilt foliate ground, the inner rim decorated with spearhead design -- 15.3/8in. (39cms) diam, (some retsoration); and a famille rose punch bowl decorated to the exterior with shaped panels of river landscape scenes, the interior with a multitude of trailing flowers, fruit sprays and foliage -- 15.3/8in. (39cms) diam, 18th century, (rivetted).
