A pair of Chinese slender tapering vases
with short slightly flaring necks, painted in coloured enamels and gilt with floral roundels on iron-red grounds reserved with coiled guei dragons amongst entwined chrysanthemum flowers and leaves, the shoulders with bands of further dragons chasing flaming pearls -- 18¼in. (46.4cm.) high, 20th Century.
