the case modelled as a short fluted column on stepped square section plinth with scroll capped paw feet, figural surmount of two dancing girls being crowned with flowers by a cherub, naturalistic circular base signed Mach MOREAU, the spelter with later silver-coloured patination, off-white Arabic dial with floral wreath, black steel hands -- 30¼in. (76.8cm.) high overall; and a pair of six-light candelabrum ensuite -- 25¼in. (64.2cm.) high
