The top with sliding silk-lined firescreen above a serpentine fall-front enclosing a leather-inset writing surface and a fitted bois satin-lined drawer over a further pull-out work surface enclosing a secret walnut-lined drawer, the top, back and sides inlaid with floral branches and leaves, on cabriole legs headed by rocaille-cast chutes and scroll-cast feet, with partial handwritten label inscribed Huntington, the mounts struck throughout with the 'C' Couronn Poinon
