With nickel-finished lever movement, 17 jewels, mono-metallic balance, the silvered matte dial with applied baton numerals, three subsidiary dials indicating constant seconds, 30 minute and 12 hour registers, outer calibrated tachometer ring, the tonneau water-resistant-type case with chamfered bezel, two round chronograph buttons in the band, screw back, screw down crown, case, dial and movement signed.

A similar watch is illustrated in Rolex, Orologi da Polso by O. Patrizzi, page 188. It notes that only 3600 examples of this model were produced. This was the last classically styled chronograph wristwatch by Rolex prior to the introduction of the Daytona model.
