late edo period (19th century), signed on tanzaku rensei sanjin and gyonen rokujuissai kore [o] horu (made at age 61)
The gold fittings carved as Fugen Bosatsu and Monju Bosatsu, both holding flowers and standing beside an elephant and a lion
Width 16in. (3.3cm.) and 16in. (3.7cm.), thickness 6mm. each (2)
