mid edo period (18th century), signed rinsendo mitsumasa and sealed mitsumasa
A shibuichi set, comprising an oval tsuba, kozuka and fuchi-kashira decorated in nikubori and gold details with three-clawed dragon ascending in clouds, the tsuba with kakumimi and the hitsuana plugged in gilt
The tsuba, height 2.7/8in. (7.3cm.), width 2in. (7cm.), thickness 4.5mm. (4)
