The needle case probably Swiss, circa 1775, maker's marke FW; the ncssaire 19th century
The first tapering flattened cylindrical, the cover and case with vacant reserves within engine-turned chevron borders below a rosette enclosed in a circular cartouche within flower wreath on each side, the domed cover with similar rosette, marked on inner sleeve of base; the ncssaire rectangular tapering, the cover and base with matted ground with scrolling acanthus and inlaid on each side with a mother-of-pearl rosette framed by mother-of-pearl engraved inlaid elements, fitted with a pair of scissors, two hinged ivory plaquettes, a folding knife, a spoon, a needle, a pencil holder and a suckett spoon, apparently unmarked
