Maker's mark of John and Thomas Settle, Sheffield, 1824; one finial and one nozzle 1826; one nozzle plated
Each on a shaped circular stepped base cast with scrolls and foliage, the cylindrical tapering stem applied with acanthus leaves, the vase-shaped sockets issuing three reeded acanthus-capped double-scroll branches with circular wax-pans, vase-shaped sockets with removable nozzles and similar decoration, the central standard surmounted by a vase-form socket topped by a removable finial, one nozzle engraved with a crest, marked on bases, branches, wax-pans, sockets, finials, and five nozzles; the plated nozzle unmarked
