A WILLIAM IV SILVER THREE-PIECE TEA SERVICE** Maker's mark of Charles Fox, London, 1833 Comprising a teapot, sugar bowl and creamer, each melon-shaped and lobed, on four acanthus scroll feet, the shoulder with chased overlapping matte leaves and flowerhead at intervals, with acanthus and flower-capped scroll handles and wavy molded rim, the teapot cover surmounted by gourd-leaves calyx and gourd finial, marked under bases, on teapot cover and handle, and on finial 12in. (30.4cm.) long over handle; gross weight 46oz. (1446gr.) (3)
