Maker's mark of John Bridge, London, 1832
Each shaped circular, the fluted body with applied border of shells and scrolling acanthus at intervals, the high domed fluted cover surmounted by a matte twisted pomegranate and leaf handle over an acanthus calyx, the dish engraved on two sides with a motto above a crest, the cover engraved with a coat-of-arms below a helm, crest and coronet in a rocaille and foliate cartouche, marked on dishes, under covers, and on calyx, each cover and calyx also numbered from 1 to 4
