The larger one oval on four gadrooned and scroll feet, with gadrooned rim and side handle, the center engraved with a coat-of-arms and motto; the smaller trays circular, engraved with the same coat-of-arms, marked on reverses

Lot Essay

The arms are those of De Grey impaling North, as borne by the Barons Walsingham, with a crescent for difference, probably for Brownlow North Osborn De Grey (1808-1868), the second surviving son of the 4th Baron Walshingham
