The rectangular sliding top inset with a painting of a ribbon-tied floral wreath, enclosing a fitted interior with ratcheted baize-lined writing surface above a palmette and anthemion-decorated frieze, on tapering fluted legs with brass casters, with a later removable verre eglomise top centering an urn within an oval, the spandrels with floral bouquets, within a floral surround, table regilt, redecorated
