marked with the Cyrillic initials of Fedor Rckert, Moscow, 1896-1908, with scratched inventory number 2318
Oblong, the front depicting the Queen of Hearts and the back with the King of Clubs in regional costumes on white ground within stylized varicolor floral and foliate scrolls, the sides and rim of hinged cover with similar scrolls, on pale green ground, the top of the cover with a roundel with the spade sign with pellets on pale blue ground surrounded by floral and foliate scrolls with a military head-dress, sword and bow on white ground within blue pellet border, marked inside cover and under base
