marked with the Cyrillic initials of Fedor Rckert, Moscow, 1896-1908, with scratched inventory number 8800
Shaped circular, the domed and partially lobed foot and shaped stem with bands and reserves of varicolor stylized floral and foliate sprays on various green, blue, cream and russet grounds, the hexagonal shaped dish with convex and concave reserves with lavish varicolor floral and foliate sprays, the former incorporating three stylized birds, on russet, dark blue and cream grounds, the slightly domed centre with a Russian maiden offering refreshment to a richly-dressed visitor, with the Russian caption 'Dear Guest' above, within circular border of stylized leaves on blue ground, marked under dish and base
