The figure seated alone towards the left of the present picture recurs in a painting at Chatsworth (Boisclair, op. cit., p. 277, no. 350, fig. 385). In addition to his engraving, Isaac de Moucheron painted a version of the present composition, including five cows (Alfred Beurdeley (+) Sale, Paris, 8-10 June 1920)
