The valuable and specialised collection neatly mounted and written-up in an album and containing many items ex the Dawson collection; principally comprising mint sheets and other large multiples the collection concentrates on the various settings associated with these interesting stamps; the collection includes two prestamp covers with bi-lingual cachet of the Jamsahib's Office; Stone I reconstruction, an additional block of nine and fifteen used (9 on cover); Stone II complete sheet and used (6, three on cover); Stone III sheets (4 in contrasting shades); Stone IV sheets (2 in contrasting shades) and a block of seven on cover; Stone V complete sheet, a large part used reconstruction and one used on cover; Stones VI, VII (2), VIII (2), IX, XV (2), XVI (2), XVII (2) and two others of unknown Stone, and various covers of the later Stones; ½a. black on slate pair and ½a. black on pale blue strip of three, both variety imperforate between; ½a. black on pale grey large part sheet of fourteen grossly misperforated; 1a. complete and a strip of three on cover; generally good to fine for these and an exceptional study
