Maker's mark of J.C. Klinkosch, with Imperial warranty mark, Vienna, circa 1890
Boat-shaped, on four scroll and rocaille feet, the sides cast and chased with roses and reeds and applied twice with coat-of-arms within scroll cartouche, with waved matted scroll and foliage border, the stern cast and chased with a mask of a sea-god, surmounted by a youthful hunter with hound, the prow with detachable similar figure kneeling on a dead stag, with two plated liners, marked on side and detachable figures
