early 18th Century, probably Baltic, maker's mark AD conjoined
Cylindrical, on three foliate ball feet applied above with cherubs and foliage, the body chased with large matted foliage sprays, the scroll handle terminating in a cartouche, the flat cover chased with swirling leaves within a band of running scrolling foliage, the thumbpiece chased with fruits, stamped beneath with inventory number 870, marked on base
