A set of six fine German silver double salt-cellars
Maker's mark of Johann Jakob Hermann Grabe, Augsburg, 1781-1783
In the Louis XV style, each shaped oval, on four double bracket feet with plain rectangular panels, the shaped sides cast and chased with laurel festoons, the border chased with quatrefoils within ovals, the flat centre between the gilt wells chased with paterae and shaped matted panels, each prick-engraved with Cyrillic inscription and inventory number either 1 and possibly 2, marked on bases
