In the mid-18th century manner on four pierced scroll feet, the bombe body chased and embossed with flowerheads and scrolls enclosing a rocaille cartouche engraved with a crest, the other sides centred by chinoiserie figures, the shoulders applied with scroll brackets, the hinged domed cover chased with foliage and surmounted by a flower cluster finial
