The above shirt was worn by the Scotland Captain George Young in the match against England played at Hampden Park, Glasgow on 5th April 1952, England defeating Scotland 2-1. Johnstone wore No.8 in the above match and it must be assumed that he swapped his shirt with Young after the match.
