In the record-winning season, 1907-8, Celtic won the Division 1 Championship with 55 points, Falkirk being runners-up on 51 points. The Scottish Cup by defeating St. Mirren 5-1 before 55,000 spectators at Hampden Park on 18th April 1908. The Glasgow Cup by defeating Rangers 2-1 after two drawn matches and the Glasgow Charity Cup by defeating Queen's Park 3-0.
