In the 1903-04 Glasgow Charity Cup final, Rangers defeated Celtic 5-2.

The above medal was awarded to the legendary Rangers and Scotland outside-left Alex Smith who between 1898 and 1911 played for Scotland at full International level on 20 occasions. He joined Rangers from his local side Darvel F.C. in April 1894 and won a phenomenal seven League Championship's, three Scottish Cup's and was a losing finalist in the Cup on four other occasions. He retired from playing in 1915 and died on 12th November 1954
