Lot Essay

The above lot relates to the career of George Frederick Plastow and is offered for sale by his grand-daughter. By family repute, Plastow worked for Woolwich Arsenal in the early part of this century and was invited to play for the Arsenal team but declined. It is believed the Woolwich Arsenal medal relates to the South East League and the medal initialled P.J.L. is for the Plumstead Junior League.
