Provenance
By repute, purchased by the vendor at a charity auction in 1967 at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, Bayswater, London for (150 with the late comedian and entertainer Tommy Cooper being the auctioneer. The shirt was subsequently autographed by Bobby Moore 8 years ago when he visited the public house the vendor owned at the time along with George Best.

The above shirt probably relates to the friendly match played against Portugal on 17th May 1964 at the National Stadium, Portugal before 46,000 spectators when England defeated Portugal 4-3.
