The right half of the composition follows an engraving by Aegidius de Sadeler (Holl. 205) after Paul Bril's picture, signed and dated 1574, in a private collection, Germany, while the left half of the composition follows the engraving by Johannes Sadeler (Holl. 578) after Paul Bril's picture of 1595 in the Palazzo Pitti, Florence.
