First half of the 19th Century
With cameo-type portraits of Antique philosophers on coffee-coloured grounds within gilt scroll and foliage bordered cartouches reserved on a blue ground, the reverses with garden flowers within cartouches, with gilt and black scroll handles, the domed blue and gilt covers with pointed finials (one finial restuck)
