Maker's mark of P. Pieterse, Amsterdam, 1856 and with retailer's mark for A. Bonebakker & Zn., Amsterdam and the tray by J.M. van Kempen, Voorschoten, 1859
Of square and rectangular form, the sides fluently shaped and the angles profiled, the base and rim reeded, the hinged covers with a C-scroll and foliate design centered by flowerheads, on rectangular-shaped matched tray
