ring feet supporting the green onyx shaped oval base, the corners set with rosets and the front with parcel-gilt stylised floral ornament, the lower part of the globular clock shaped as clouds, the clock surmounted and flanked by three cupids and covered by roses, flowers, tassels and trompe l'oeil fringed cloth, applied Roman gilt chapters and hands, in original Maroccan leather gilt-tooled case
