Maker's mark D.W., Danzig, circa 1600
On oval domed base, chased with a snail, a snake, flowers and foliage, applied with a silver cast frog, the stork finely chased with feathers holding in its beak a wrapped and dressed baby with ribbons and a baret, the detachable head set with brown paste eyes
