A copper and brass tobacco box
Apparently unmarked, possibly Dutch, circa 1750
Of oblong form, the two sides shaped, the cover and base stepped and with reeded mounts, all-over engraved with scrolls and leafage, the cover set with a copper plaque depicting the engraved scene of Christ in Jerusalem at each side flanked by cherubs
