A lacquered, tortoise shell and two-coloured gold-mounted portrait miniature snuff box
Apparently unmarked, possibly France, circa 1770/1780
Of circular form, lacquered into green and red panels decorated with birds and foliate garlands, the mounts foliate decorated and engraved, centered by an oval portrait miniture in leaf-and flowerhead decorated gold border, depicting a male figure with powdered hair and wearing a red coat
