The first with waisted sides and decorated with scrolls and shells against stippled ground, the cover with mythological figures flanked by scrolling foliage, with double cover; and a larger rectangular-shaped and waisted snuff box, the cover set with a porcelaine painted plaque, depicting ships at a river with wooded landscape and figures at the right, the inside with a scene of pilgrims, the mounts decorated with scrolling foliage and flowerbaskets, with shaped thumb-piece
