Painted in deep cobalt blue with a scene showing a musician playing the qin accompanied by a child squatted at his feet, two conversing ladies standing in the fenced garden, all below small radiating sprays of pine, bamboo and prunus on the everted rim (rim chips, some glaze flakes to the interior)
