Two large Wucai baluster jars and covers
17th Century
The exterior painted all around with two different scenes of standing ladies below a 'cracked-ice'-pattern border on the shoulder, the rim with stems of chrysanthemum and peony between rockwork, the domed covers decorated with a skipping boys and surmounted by lion finials (one cover and both rims restored, the finials replaced)
