Feather-banded overall, the rectangular top above the sloping flap with a green felt-lined panelled writing surface to the reverse, enclosing an interior fitted with a small central door, flanked by a brass-capped column hiding a drawer to each side, surrounded by four pigeon-holes, six drawers and a well drawer, the waved base with three long drawers and canted sides, shaped apron between claw-and-ball feet
