A Victorian oak longcase clock
The case cross-banded overall, on a rectangular plinth, with pentagonal trunk door, the hood with detached ring-turned columns supporting the the swan-neck pediment, the painted Roman dial indistinctly signed and with CARLISLE, date aperture, the spandrels painted with dogs chasing birds, the arch with a girl and her dog, the four-pillar rack-striking movement with anchor escapement, minor damages and restorations
