Study of the White Cockatoo

The white cockatoo was the subject for Spencer's oil painting, The White Cockatoo or Coronation Cockatoo, (Private Collection), 1937, (Bell 242). Mr Turk, the Cookham swan upper, owned a white cockatoo whose favourite call was "Goodbye", to which the expected answer was also "Goodbye".
