The later rectangular plate in a beaded slip and eared frame with foliage angles and egg-and-dart moulding, with scrolled broken pediment centred by a foliage cartouche, above a frieze centred by a shell and flanked by scrolling foliage and draped material, the shaped apron with scrolling acanthus, with paper label to the reverse inscribed 'L.G. FOSTER ESQ.', largely regessoed and regilt, traces of the original decoration, originally with candle-branches
