A related walnut claw-footed dressing-table, with scroll-fretted apron, formerly in the Percival Griffiths Collection, is illustrated in P. Macquoid and R. Edwards, The Dictionary of English Furniture, London, rev. ed., 1954 (p. 543, fig. 5). It also relates to a George II mahogany dressing-table displayed in the red bedroom at Erdigg (M. Jourdain, 'Erdigg - II', Country Life, 23 August 1930, p. 238, fig. 7).
